Jerry Corbetta to Produce Patty Brown's Crowded Head


SAN DIEGO, CA - August 1 2001 - BlackBall Music has announced the signing of Jerry Corbetta to produce the new CD of its premier act singer/song writer Patty Brown and her band Crowded Head. Mr. Corbetta may be best known as keyboard player and lead singer for the super group Sugarloaf, and his compositions "Green Eyed Lady", and "Don't Call Us We'll Call You". He co-authored Grace Jones' smash hit "On Your Knees". For his production work on Frankie Valli's hit album "Heaven Above Me", with Bob Crew and Bob Gaudio. Joining Frankie Valli as a member of The Four Seasons for concert tours. His collaboration with Bob Crewe in writing the huge hit for Roberta Flack and Peabo Bryson, "You're Feelin' Like Love To Me", and his composition of Engelbert Humperdink's hit "After You". In addition to being an active member of The Classic Rock All Stars, Mr. Corbetta brings his years of experience producing television and radio jingles, video music, movie scores, and records in Japan for Polydor, to Crowded Head's project. With plans to record with Neil Diamond's chief engineer Bernie Becker, Crowded Head's new CD "Bad Math", may translate into good math when it comes to music quality and sales.
